Full job description

We are currently looking for certified, or soon to be certified, X-Ray Technologists (Medical Radiation Technologist or Combined Laboratory & X-Ray Technologist) to join our expanding outpatient clinics in a full-time or part-time position. Working collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, you’ll explain procedures, position patients, adjust equipment, and capture diagnostic images. Bringing compassion and clarity to each patient interaction, you’ll help ensure remarkable care every visit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct standardized and complex imaging under the direction of Radiologists and referring Physicians, while adhering to departmental protocols and guidelines.
  • Explain exams and procedures, address questions, ease concerns, and help patients feel comfortable.
  • Partner with Radiologists and other teams to help deliver a seamless and thoughtful experience.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to refine existing skills, build new competencies, and cross-train in additional modalities such as specialized procedures in Fluoroscopy and Mammography.
  • Follow privacy, confidentiality, safety, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Track X-Ray equipment performance, document findings, and assist in resolving basic issues.
  • Prepare and stock exam rooms for patient exams and procedures; report low inventory as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Active registration (or eligibility) with CAMRT & ACMDTT or CSCLXT & ACCLXT.
  • Clinical competency in radiography with an interest in refining and expanding skills.
  • Exposure to mammography with CAMRT Breast Imaging 1 or equivalent, is an asset. Exposure to fluoroscopy, or interventional X-Ray procedures is also valuable.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office and patient management systems (e.g., RamSoft), along with an understanding of departmental equipment.
  • A history of remarkable care, collaboration, adaptability, and flexibility.
