Full job description

We are a private surgery clinic looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team! This role involves a mix of patient care coordination and administrative support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering emails and phone calls related to patient inquiries
  • Triage and assess patient needs, providing appropriate guidance
  • Transporting patients to their rooms after surgery
  • Reviewing and explaining post-op instructions and medications with patients
  • Ensuring proper medication review and documentation

Hours:

  • 40-44 hours per week (full-time)
  • Weekends may be required

Qualifications:

  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, private surgery clinic environment
  • Experience in a surgical or post-op setting is an asset
