Bar Poet (1090 Queen Street west) is looking for Line Cooks, Pizzaiolos to join our Kitchen Team!

About Us:

Welcome to Bar Poet – where the magic of great food, handcrafted cocktails, and warm vibes come together under one roof. We're a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto, known for our poetic atmosphere, elevated bar food, and commitment to quality. We're looking for passionate, driven, and reliable Line Cooks, Pizzaiolo to join our growing kitchen team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety standards
  • Execute dishes in a timely manner while working collaboratively with other cooks and kitchen staff
  • Assist with inventory, prep lists, and daily cleaning tasks
  • Bring positive energy, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and grow in a team environment

Who You Are:

  • 1+ year of line cooking experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen (preferred but not required)
  • Passionate about food and committed to excellence in every plate
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to thrive under pressure
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Food Handler Certification is a plus
