Full job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our innovative manufacturing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the highest levels of quality management within a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 standards to ensure that Ingenia delivers consistently high-quality products and services to customers.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to uphold ISO certification for both the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Ensure all employees adhere to procedures that impact product quality, maintaining consistent compliance and standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints and internal corrective actions efficiently, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Train Quality Control Technicians and Production Operators to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Validate and optimize QC testing methods to safeguard product quality and prevent non-conforming releases.
  • Collaborate with R&D to ensure testing capability.
  • Ensure a safe laboratory environment for all quality technicians.
  • Improve reliability and effectiveness of Quality Control methods.
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineers, and business managers during trial development to develop statistically and mutually agreed-upon internal and customer product specifications.
  • Support Plant and Product Safety.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Manager to standardize ISO standards, quality plans, and procedures across all manufacturing sites.
  • Support the Production Manager by auditing and coaching operators to ensure safety and product compliance.
  • Troubleshoot quality issues across the company’s extrusion and grinding processes to ensure product standards are met.
  • Direct quality control inspections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with 5 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Master’s degree in Polymer Science is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing are required
  • 5 years’ working experience with analytical methods including FTIR, XRF, and OCS.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 is a must to maintain ISO certification for the facility.
  • Past experience working in a high pace manufacturing facility is a bonus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $71,000.00-$93,000.00 per year
