Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Regulatory Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing compliance with local, national, and international food safety regulations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring regulatory readiness, managing quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our aseptic beverage manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with CFIA, FDA, FSMA, BRC, Organic, Gluten Free and other relevant regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Maintain, update, and audit quality systems, HACCP plans, and food safety programs in accordance with aseptic processing standards.
  • Review and approve product labels, packaging claims, and ingredient declarations for regulatory accuracy.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory changes that may impact manufacturing or product labeling.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory and customer audits.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documentation, certifications, and reports.
  • Collaborate with production, and supply chain teams to ensure quality and compliance from raw material to final product.
  • Support investigations of non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Maintain up-to-date records and databases related to quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Regulatory Affairs, preferably in an aseptic or beverage manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of CFIA and FDA food regulations, HACCP, GMP, and aseptic processing requirements.
  • Experience with BRC or other GFSI-benchmarked certification programs.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
