Core hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PST
We value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 4 days per week.
Role Summary
As the Public Relations Coordinator, you will support the execution of global PR initiatives while leading the in-house Canadian PR program. You will be acting as the brand ambassador and work closely with key stakeholders to support media relations, influencer engagement, events, and communications activities. As the Public Relations Coordinator, you thrive in a collaborative environment, can manage multiple priorities, and contribute to effective, on-brand communications that reflect Eminence’s values and mission. You will report directly to the Media & Community Relations Manager.

You will report directly to the Media & Community Relations Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support collaboration with external PR agencies, including collecting reports, reviewing pitches, and tracking deliverables
- Monitor and respond to media inquiries, coordinating product orders as needed
- Lead Canadian media outreach and pitching efforts, maintain up-to-date media contact lists, and help keep Eminence top of mind with key Canadian press contacts
- Coordinate U.S. award submissions and lead award submissions for Canada and international markets
- Coordinate external events with stakeholders, including supporting related marketing efforts
- Represent the brand at events when required
- Maintain databases for celebrities, makeup artists, and influencers
- Process VIP product orders and track key relationships
- Coordinate projects across PR initiatives
- Draft and submit editorial content and support with corporate copywriting
- Coordinate award submissions and support award licensing requirements
- Track award opportunities and maintain submission timelines and documentation
- Support the Digital team with advertising opportunities in trade and consumer publications
- College diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in PR or communications
- Skin care or beauty industry experience is an asset
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Proactive and solutions-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with design and project management software is an asset
