Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our team to deliver memorable dining experiences. Your leadership will help maintain high standards in food quality, safety, and hospitality while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and cash handling to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance on food safety, food handling, and customer service best practices.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Manage POS systems such as Micros to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct interviews and assist with team management tasks like scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Support restaurant management in implementing operational procedures to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen procedures.
  • Previous restaurant management or leadership experience is highly desirable.
  • Hospitality or hotel experience, barista experience, or restaurant experience will be considered an asset.
