Full job description

MiAccounting & Income Tax Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Accountant to join our growing team. This is more than a compliance role; you'll work directly with owner-managed businesses, review corporate tax engagements, and help deliver proactive tax and business advisory services.

Minimum Requirement: Applicants must currently hold an active CPA Ontario designation. Unfortunately, we are unable to consider candidates who do not meet this requirement.

Core responsibilities

  • Review and prepare T2 corporate income tax returns.
  • Review and prepare compilation engagements (CSRS 4200).
  • Prepare and review personal tax returns for owner-managers.
  • Provide tax planning for private corporations.
  • Review HST/GST filings and resolve CRA matters.
  • Meet directly with clients and answer technical accounting and tax questions.
  • Assist with business advisory, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.

Requirements

  • CPA Ontario designation (required).
  • 2+ years of Canadian public practice experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian corporate taxation.
  • Experience with owner-managed businesses.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
