You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, build practical skills, and gain a better understanding of how environmental, health, and safety practices support our people and operations. This is an on-site internship with an anticipated start date in May. Ideally, you’ll be available for a 4- to 8-month term.

• Salaries starting from $3,700 per month (based on your year in school and previous experience).
• Temporary living allowance for interns moving to the area for the role.

What You’ll Do

• Support environmental, health, and safety initiatives across a manufacturing operation.
• Assist with inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and compliance activities.
• Review and analyze safety or environmental data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Help develop or update procedures, training materials, and EHS documentation.
• Contribute to project work by reviewing requirements, identifying gaps, and recommending practical solutions.
• Collaborate with employees and leaders across the site while gaining experience in both office and industrial environments.
• See firsthand how EHS programs help protect people, improve processes, and support responsible operations

What You Offer

• You are enrolled in a post-secondary program related to Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or Public Health.
• You are committed to maintaining a safe work environment without compromise.
• You are comfortable analyzing information and using Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL or Tableau is an asset.
• You communicate clearly and can organize findings into practical documentation or recommendations.
• You are curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking questions to better understand risks, requirements, and processes.
• You are willing to work in both office and industrial environments, including spending time on the mill floor.
