Part-Time Bartender – Lennox Irish Pub

Location: Lennox Irish Pub – Calgary, AB
Position: Part-Time Bartender
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Shifts: Day, evening, and night shifts

Lennox Irish Pub is looking for an experienced, outgoing, and reliable part-time bartender to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working in a busy pub environment, provides great customer service, and can confidently handle both bar service and guest interaction. This position will average approximately 20 hours per week and requires availability for a combination of day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, cocktails, and other beverages
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and attentive service
  • Take orders and process payments accurately using the POS system
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar
  • Follow responsible liquor service and AGLC requirements
  • Assist with opening, closing, and general bar duties
  • Work effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management
  • Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous bartending experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of beer, spirits, and basic cocktails
  • Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with guests
  • Able to work efficiently during busy periods
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ProServe certification required
  • Must be available for a mix of day, evening, and night shifts
  • Weekend availability is an asset
