Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be crucial to your success in this role.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and responding to inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving guidelines.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and drink preparation measurements.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain hygiene standards at the bar.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A passion for mixology and willingness to learn new techniques is highly desirable.
