Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our hard working kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety and communication. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation and delivering exceptional meals to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and plating guides.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, slicing, and measuring, sauces, proteins.
  • Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
  • Work efficiently and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations and the kitchen as a whole.
  • Show up on time, have a good attitude, and willingness to work!

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience with meal preparation and handling various types of food is a plus.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 36.0 per week
