Job Summary

At Lotus Wellness Psychology Clinic, we are looking for a compassionate Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Social Worker dedicated to enhancing our clients well-being through compassionate, evidence-based care. In this role, you will work with individuals across different age groups with multiple diversities. This position provides an opportunity to support our clients in a meaningful way while working as part of a collaborative and supportive team. There is multiple training and learning opportunities, including weekly consultation with Dr. Bahl, Clinical Psychologist.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, psychotherapy, social work, counselling, or a related mental health discipline.
  • Current registration and good standing with the applicable regulatory college.
  • Appropriate professional liability insurance and authorization to provide clinical services within the scope of practice.
  • Experience supporting clients from diverse cultural, racial, socioeconomic, gender, sexual-orientation, religious, and ability backgrounds.
  • Experience working with clients across a range of clinical presentations.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centred approaches.
  • Strong clinical writing skills and the ability to maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, reflective learning, and ongoing professional development.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy tailored to each client’s needs, goals, identity, and circumstances.
  • Develop collaborative treatment plans and review client progress regularly.
  • Apply appropriate therapeutic interventions within the clinician’s professional competence and scope of practice.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
  • Recognize and respond appropriately to risk, safety concerns, and clinical crises in accordance with clinic policies and professional standards.
  • Make referrals and coordinate care with other healthcare or community professionals when clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain clear professional boundaries and protect client privacy and confidentiality.

Collaboration and Professional Development

  • Participate in weekly clinical consultation with Dr. Bahl, Clinical Psychologist.
  • Seek consultation when a client’s needs extend beyond the clinician’s experience, competence, or scope of practice.
  • Remain current with relevant research, ethical requirements, professional standards, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
  • Participate in training, case consultation, and other professional-development opportunities offered by the clinic.
  • Receive and incorporate constructive feedback into clinical practice.
  • Contribute to a workplace culture grounded in compassion, accountability, equity, inclusion, and respect.
