Program Development and Implementation

  • Collaborate with the BCBA to develop, review, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and client progress.
  • Assist in creating materials and visual aids to enhance client engagement and learning.

Team Leadership and Training

  • Supervise and mentor Behavior Therapists, providing hands-on support, modeling techniques, and offering constructive feedback.
  • Assist in training new staff members on clinical practices, data collection, and behavior intervention techniques.
  • Facilitate team meetings to discuss client progress, address challenges, and align on treatment goals.

Data and Documentation

  • Maintain organized, thorough session notes, progress summaries, and data logs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist the BCBA in analyzing data to monitor client progress and make data-driven program adjustments.
  • Complete progress reports and documentation to share with families and stakeholders, contributing to treatment review and updates.

Family and Caregiver Communication

  • Provide caregivers with regular updates on client progress, upcoming goals, and strategies for continued support.
  • Conduct training sessions or educational meetings with families to enhance generalization of skills and behavior management outside the clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, special education, or a related field.
  • Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
  • Experience providing ABA therapy services to individuals with ASD and/or other developmental disabilities.
  • Proficiency in conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs), developing behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and implementing evidence-based ABA interventions.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively train, coach, and mentor behavior technicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines in behavior analysis practice.
