Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist. This role requires a commitment to confidentiality, a passion for helping diverse populations, interpersonal skills and compassion.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors
  • Handle phone calls for appointment modifications, cancellations, and rescheduling
  • Manage filing, coding, and organization of medical files
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry
  • Verify insurance information and process patient payments

Requirements:

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident living in Canada
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • College degree (NBCC, Oulton, etc.) degree is an asset
