As our Community Outreach & Awareness Manager, you will serve as the external face and voice of the community—building partnerships, increasing brand awareness, and generating qualified leads that support occupancy and long-term success.
Position Summary:
The Community Outreach & Awareness Manager is responsible for expanding partnerships and increasing awareness of the community throughout the surrounding market. This role partners closely with the Executive Director and Sales & Marketing Directors to develop and execute outreach strategies that grow the prospect lead base, strengthen referral relationships, and support occupancy goals through community engagement, events, and education.
Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to take direction, meet timelines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Comfortable developing new relationships through face-to-face community engagement.

Adaptable to a fast-paced environment with repetitive and evolving projects.

Strong work ethic with a high level of integrity both in and out of the work environment.

Professional level of organization and time management.

Preferred knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.

Ability to drive to and be on location for events and functions, with extended periods of standing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-
Partner with Executive Directors and Sales & Marketing Directors to develop and execute community outreach and awareness plans that increase the prospect lead base.
-
Serve as the primary spokesperson at trade shows, networking events, and community functions.
-
Conduct presentations for community groups, referral partners, and organizations regarding services, programs, availability, and market advantages.
-
Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, senior organizations, churches, and other community partners.
-
Plan, coordinate, and implement monthly referral source activities and community events.
-
Complete outside marketing and outreach calls to meet or exceed established weekly goals.

Maintain a working knowledge of the lead management system, sales processes, and reporting tools to track outreach effectiveness and occupancy goals.

Provide customer insights and feedback to the marketing department.
-
Work collaboratively with Sales & Marketing Directors to understand competitive landscapes and align outreach strategies.

Assist in managing marketing budgets related to community awareness and branding initiatives.
-
Align community social media efforts with outreach and awareness opportunities.
-
Oversee online reputation management efforts, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to reviews.
-
Ensure accuracy and consistency of all community marketing and advertising materials.
-
Assist with proofing and distribution of advertising and promotional materials.
-
Support the Community Leadership Team with reporting, meeting preparation, scheduling, and event coordination.

Manage Brightwater-branded promotional items and recommend new outreach materials as appropriate.
