Full job description

We are currently seeking a residential leasing agent to join our dynamic and hardworking team to assist in managing over 2500 rental properties throughout the city.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with organizing and executing tours of the available and upcoming units
  • Reviewing and approving/denying rental applications
  • Answering various questions from potential renters & current tenants in a timely manner
  • Responding to all telephone, email, in person and social media inquiries
  • Assisting all rental websites
  • Coordinating move ins/move outs including organizing cleaning and maintenance of the units
  • Coordinating maintenance and repairs efficiently
  • Staying on top of market comparables and actively searching for new outlets to aid in renting the units
  • Collecting and tracking rents
  • Filing and attending applications via the RTDRS

Qualifications:

  • Computer literate with extensive knowledge in Microsoft office products
  • Outstanding written & oral communication skills are a must
  • Previous building management experience is an asset
  • Knowledge in building maintenance and mechanicals is an asset
  • Ability to make minor repairs is required
  • Experience in social media is required
  • Experience managing high end rentals is an asset
  • Must be available to work weekends & evenings
  • Successful applicant will always be on call for emergencies
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have a vehicle
