As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Project Technician – L3 Networking Specialist to join us in creating innovative technology solutions that will shape the future of modern work for our clients.


About the Role

As a Project Technician – Tier 3 Network & Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a senior hands-on role in the planning, design, and delivery of complex network and infrastructure deployments for our clients. This position blends advanced networking expertise with deep server, virtualization, and on‑prem infrastructure deployment skills. You will be responsible for both design and execution, including on‑site work such as racking equipment, deploying servers, and implementing enterprise-grade solutions across hybrid environments. This role is ideal for a senior technician or engineer who is equally comfortable configuring firewalls and switches and deploying Windows server infrastructure, hypervisors, and storage platforms.

  • Location: London - Guelph
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Work Mode: Hybrid (office, client sites, and remote)


What You Will Do

  • Lead the implementation of complex networking projects including new site builds, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Design, configure, and deploy enterprise LAN/WAN, VPN, SD‑WAN, and firewall solutions (e.g., FortiGate, Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto).
  • Perform advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis for escalated network issues.
  • Ensure security best practices and compliance standards are met (segmentation, MFA, encryption, secure access).
  • Deploy and configure Windows Server environments, including:
    • Active Directory
    • DNS, DHCP
    • Group Policy
    • File & Print Services
    • RDS
  • Perform on‑site infrastructure work, including:
    • Racking and cabling servers, storage, and networking gear
    • Coordinating power, cooling, and rack layouts
  • Deploy and configure hypervisors and virtualization platforms, including:
    • VMware ESXi / vSphere
    • Windows‑based virtualization platforms
  • Design and deploy server and storage solutions, including:
    • NAS and SAN platforms
    • Windows Server clustering (asset)
  • Participate in server refreshes, datacenter moves, and hybrid cloud integrations.
  • Work with vendors to deploy or migrate customer line of business applications.
  • Deploy and integrate Azure infrastructure (asset), including:
    • Virtual machines
    • Networking components
    • Hybrid identity and connectivity
  • Support hybrid environments integrating on‑prem infrastructure with cloud services.
  • Collaborate with project managers, solution architects, and clients to define scope and technical requirements.
  • Document all designs, configurations, and deliverables clearly in internal documentation systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and operations teams.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide post‑deployment support and knowledge transfer.


What We Are Looking For

  • College diploma or university degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in project delivery within an MSP or enterprise IT environment.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Enterprise networking (routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs)
  • Windows Server environments and core Windows services
  • Physical infrastructure deployments and on‑site work
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple client projects concurrently.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Assets & Preferred Qualifications
  • VMware ESXi / vSphere experience
  • Windows Server clustering
  • Azure infrastructure experience
  • Fortinet NSE 4+ or equivalent
  • Cisco CCNP or equivalent
  • MCSA certifications (or equivalent experience)
  • AZ‑104 (or equivalent Azure experience)
  • PowerShell or automation experience
