Pay: CA$47,779.09 - CA$74,359.87 per year

Job description:

Royal Fence strives to provide clients with any of their supply and installation needs. We specialize in the construction of chain-link fence, wood fence, farm/highway fence, high security fence, all types of gates, noise barrier and/or retaining walls, garbage enclosures, bollards and much more!

We are looking to add a Project Coordinator to our team in London!

  • Ensures the project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables.
  • Maintain documentation throughout the length of the project.
  • Read, understand, and track all contractual scope of work. Be familiar with the overall project scope.
  • Review project sites in conjunction with working construction drawings to identify potential constructability issues, safety hazards or constraints prior to pricing (if additional scope of work) and scheduling the work. Any issues to be brought up to the PM and superintendent.
  • Review contract documents and create work packages which reflect all resources required.
  • Plan and schedule work according to available resources to meet client needs.
  • Trouble shoot field issues on-site to maintain workflow & meet deliverables.
  • Proactively communicate and coordinate with clients (GC staff), suppliers & engineering regarding scope of work and equipment needed to complete jobs.
  • Manage and build relationships with multiple teams.
  • Manage day-to-day activities for the Project Management Team.
  • Setup of initial locates, review of locates, tracking of locates; identify any potential mistakes and review with superintendent.
  • Collect and analyze project data and produce daily progress reports or invoicing.
  • Complete quantity take offs from construction drawings, track and update as built quantities, and field verify when required.
  • Other Ad hoc duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role your need to have:

  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering or proven related field experience.
  • 1-2 years of construction experience, previous work as a coordinator is an asset.
  • Organized and results oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication skills and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated time management, scheduling, and negotiations skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Project etc.
  • Proficient with Blue Beam, Adobe, Jonas, Microsoft project etc.
  • Must have a clean driving record and a valid G license.
  • Able to multi-task and sustain productivity over long hours in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $45,237.08-$85,285.99 per year
