About the Role

Tradition Construction Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator/Project Manager to lead construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. This role combines senior-level estimating expertise with full-cycle project management responsibilities across commercial, industrial, and institutional projects throughout Southwestern Ontario.

We are looking for a professional who takes initiative, approaches challenges with practical and creative thinking, and is motivated to contribute meaningfully to project and team success.

This position is an existing vacancy based in London, Ontario and requires travel to job sites within approximately a one-hour radius.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout

· Prepare estimates, quantity take-offs, and obtain subcontractor pricing

· Participate in tendering and procurement processes

· Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and project documentation

· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders

· Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings

· Track change orders, RFIs, and project documentation

· Conduct site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality

· Lead project meetings and maintain records

· Prepare closeout documentation and coordinate project turnover

Qualifications

· Experience managing construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination

· Experience in the construction industry across multiple project phases

· Post-secondary education in construction management, civil engineering, architectural technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

· Estimating experience is an asset

· Professional designations (e.g., PMP, CCM, CET, PQS) are considered assets

· Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with project management software is an asset

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Work Requirements

· Ability to travel to job sites within the region

· Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation appropriate for the role

Compensation

· Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
This range represents the expected hiring range for this position. Final compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
