Full job description

The Handyman Co. is a family-owned handyman and renovation business serving Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Orillia, Severn and Barrie. We're looking for an experienced carpenter or general contractor to take on carpentry jobs as an independent subcontractor, paid per project.

The work includes decks, fences, stairs and railings, pergolas, framing, door and window installs, trim, crown moulding, wainscoting, built-ins and other finish carpentry for homeowners, cottage owners and property managers.

What we're looking for:

- Proven carpentry experience, with photos or references from past work

- Your own tools and reliable transportation, plus a valid driver's licence

- Ability to travel to jobs across Muskoka and Simcoe County

- Liability insurance and a WSIB clearance or exemption

- Clean, careful work, and good communication with clients and with our team
