Requires a

REGULAR PART TIME TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

For the new RISE Program in Drayton Valley, Alberta

This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association of Municipal Employees Collective Agreement. Please note, current CAAMSE applicants may be considered over non-CAAMSE applicants.

Wild Rose School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant for grade 4-8 students for the RISE program in Drayton Valley, located within the Frank Maddock High School facility. RISE (Reaching for Individual Success Everyday) is an alternative learning environment for students in grades 4-8 with behavioral and learning challenges. This program is designed to provide students with comprehensive support, assisting in their holistic development and providing the skills students require to return to traditional classroom. The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of trauma-informed classrooms, an exemplary ability to build relationships, an understanding of SIVA or Studio 3 training (as an asset) and experience working with middle school students and behaviour support programs (as an asset).

The work schedule is 6 hours/day Monday to Friday following the school calendar with duties to commence August 27, 2026.
