Senior Mechanical Designer (HVAC & Plumbing)

We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer who wants more than just another drafting role. You'll work alongside a highly skilled team, contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate directly with project managers and construction professionals, and have a clear path toward senior technical or leadership positions as our company continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

· Design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and institutional construction projects.

· Develop high-quality AutoCAD and Revit models and construction drawings.

· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and field staff.

· Support design-build projects from concept through construction.

· Review designs for constructability, coordination, and code compliance.

· Provide technical support throughout the construction phase.

· Contribute ideas that improve quality, efficiency, and project delivery.

What We're Looking For

· Minimum 5 years of mechanical HVAC and plumbing design experience.

· Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.

· Experience with commercial, institutional, light industrial and multi-family buildings.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

· Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

· Self-motivated professional who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.

Assets

· Mechanical Engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent industry experience.

· Knowledge of BC Building Code, Plumbing Code, and applicable HVAC standards.
