Mida is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Skid Steer Operator for the remaining 2026 construction season. If you have at least 3 years of experience operating skid steers and a proven track record of excellence, we want to hear from you!

**Job Responsibilities:**

As a Skid Steer Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating our skid steer equipment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

1. Operating skid steers to perform various tasks, such as grading, excavation, loading, and material handling.

2. Safely maneuvering the equipment in tight spaces, construction sites, and other challenging environments.

3. Performing routine maintenance checks on the equipment and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.

4. Adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring the safety of yourself, your team members, and others on the worksite.

5. Assisting with other tasks and equipment operation as needed, promoting a collaborative work environment.

**Qualifications:**

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience operating skid steers in a professional setting and ability to haul equipment with trailer.

2. A valid and current skid steer operator's license or certification.

3. Strong understanding of safety protocols and best practices when operating heavy equipment.

4. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and follow instructions accurately.

5. Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.

6. Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

7. A strong work ethic and a commitment to completing tasks efficiently and effectively.

8. Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
