Creative Director – Kids YouTube Channel

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly creative and organized Creative Director to lead the production of engaging content for a children's YouTube channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative concepts, storylines, and visual direction for videos.
  • Design, oversee, and coordinate the construction of props and sets.
  • Recruit, audition, and manage child and adult actors in compliance with applicable labor laws and safety requirements.
  • Plan, source, organize, and supervise costumes, wardrobe, and styling.
  • Collaborate with writers, videographers, editors, and production staff.
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, and creative assets.
  • Ensure content is age-appropriate, entertaining, educational and aligned with the channel's brand.
  • Supervise on-set operations and maintain a positive, safe environment for performers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in creative direction, film/video production, theater production, or children's entertainment.
  • Strong skills in set design, prop creation, costume coordination, and talent management.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.
  • Experience working with child performers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of child safety and entertainment industry regulations is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience.
  • Background in art direction, theater, television, digital media, or children's content.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative projects, set builds, costumes, or video productions.

Employment Type: Full-time / Weekdays/Weekends/Evenings / Contract (adjust as needed)

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
