White Tiger Vintage is an independently owned vintage clothing boutique in the heart of Downtown Kitchener. Celebrating 15 years in business, we offer a thoughtfully curated selection of vintage clothing and accessories spanning decades of fashion history.

We're looking for a motivated, personable, and experienced individual to join our team as Store Manager. The ideal candidate has a strong background in retail sales, natural leadership abilities, a keen eye for fashion, and the initiative to help keep our shop running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to contribute creatively and help our small business continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and maintain an organized, welcoming, and visually appealing shop.
• Lead, support, and motivate staff, including training, scheduling, and delegating daily responsibilities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, assist with styling, and actively contribute to sales growth.
• Help develop staff selling skills and encourage a positive, productive team environment.
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures, POS transactions, and cash handling.
• Assist with inventory processing, organization, pricing, and garment preparation.
• Create attractive visual displays and maintain strong merchandising standards.
• Take initiative in identifying opportunities to improve store operations and sales.
• Assist with resolving customer inquiries and day-to-day operational challenges.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Strong retail sales experience, with previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Confident communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Natural leadership abilities and a proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliability.
• A genuine interest in fashion, personal style, and vintage clothing.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work weekends as needed.

Additional Assets

• Knowledge of vintage fashion, including clothing eras, labels, designers, and textiles.
• Experience in visual merchandising and fashion styling.
• Clothing or product photography skills.
• Experience with online selling platforms and social media.
• Basic sewing, garment repair, or alteration skills.
• Experience with inventory management and retail pricing.
