Full job description

QuoteMedia, Inc. is a rapidly growing public company with its head office located in Fountain Hills, Arizona and development and sales offices located in Canada. We are a leading software developer and cloud-based syndicator of financial market information and streaming financial data solutions to media, corporations, online brokerages, and financial services companies. We have 120+ employees worldwide and revenues approaching $US20 million annually.

We are hiring a Product Manager with a strong understanding of financial markets and software release processes, who can bridge the gap between product strategy, technical execution, and market demands. The ideal candidate is technically fluent, collaborates well with developers, and can confidently own product delivery from planning to release. This position is remote with monthly in-person meetups in Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, scoping, development, release, and iteration.
  • Shape the product roadmap in alignment with business goals and market needs.
  • Write clear user stories, prioritize backlogs, and define acceptance criteria for dev teams.
  • Work closely with developers and QA to manage sprints and product releases.
  • Stay current with financial market trends and identify relevant product opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication across technical, business, and customer-facing teams.
  • Attend monthly in-person team meetups in Vancouver (1-day commitment).

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, trading, or market data products.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and products (e.g., trading, data feeds, asset classes).
  • Experience with agile development, release coordination, and delivery pipelines.
  • Technically literate – comfortable working with engineering teams (coding knowledge a plus).
  • Located in British Columbia, with the ability to attend monthly meetups in Vancouver.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience working with financial APIs, trading platforms, or B2B finance tools.
  • Background in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with compliance, data governance, or fintech regulatory environments.

Justification:
This hire will ensure we maintain strong momentum on our product roadmap, while aligning technical delivery with evolving financial market needs. We need someone who can connect the dots between client feedback, technical capabilities, and business outcomes—ideally with a local presence for in-person collaboration.
