We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Payment Platforms team and lead the development and evolution of Authorization products, including the Payment Host and Encryption Platform. This is a high-impact role focused on delivering secure, scalable payment capabilities while partnering with data science and engineering teams to integrate ML and AI technologies that enhance customer experiences for thousands of merchants across Canada.

You will own the full product lifecycle—from strategy and roadmap development through execution and go-to-market delivery—while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, including card brands, to identify emerging trends and unlock new opportunities.

If you are passionate about building resilient, secure, and innovative payment infrastructure, we would like to hear from you.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Director of Product.

Posting Type: Replacement.

Salary Range: The expected base salary range for this role is $125,000 - $155,000.

Total compensation may also include variable or discretionary incentive components, including but not limited to bonuses and commissions. Individual job offers are determined by various factors, including experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

  • Lead Authorization Product Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for Authorization products, including Payment Host and Encryption services, aligned with Moneris’ strategic objectives.

  • Drive Innovation with External Partners: Collaborate with card brands and industry partners to identify market trends, evaluate emerging technologies, and deliver new capabilities.

  • Own Product Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant, scalable, and aligned with customer and business needs.

  • Lead Agile Product Execution: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, guide cross-functional delivery teams, and maintain stakeholder alignment throughout development.

  • Define and Measure Success: Establish and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs), using data and customer feedback to inform product decisions and continuous improvement.

  • Partner Across the Organization: Work closely with Technology, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Support teams to ensure successful product delivery, regulatory alignment, and operational readiness.

  • Manage Product Performance: Oversee product financial performance, contribute to strategic planning, and identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and market differentiation.

  • Monitor Industry and Regulatory Trends: Assess changes in the payments landscape, competitive market, and regulatory environment to inform product strategy and maintain industry leadership.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

Required skills and experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in Product Management within payments, financial technology, or a related industry.

  • Deep technical knowledge of payment infrastructure, including Payment Hosts, Payment Gateways, and Encryption technologies.

  • Experience working with external partners such as card networks, payment processors, or fintech organizations.

  • Proven experience leading Agile product development and delivering products through cross-functional teams.

  • Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and overseeing products throughout the full lifecycle.

  • Experience managing product performance, including business outcomes, growth initiatives, or product financials.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience that would set you apart

  • Experience with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.
