Job Description

For our continuously growing business, we are currently looking for HVAC Product Manager to be based at our Mississauga office. This role is a responsible for the joint development of Heat Pump Water Heaters, Gas Furnaces, and Rooftop Units (RTU) in close collaboration with Hisense China HQ R&D team and North America R&D team. The position combines product management, local market expertise, incentive program knowledge, and technical customer support, serving as a key bridge between China R&D and the Canadian market and North America R&D team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Jointly develop HVAC products with China HQ R&D and North America R&D team.
  • Translate Canadian market, code, and customer requirements into product specifications
  • Track and support Canadian federal/provincial/utility incentive & rebate programs
  • Act as the local technical interface for Canadian customers and distributors
  • Review and validate product documentation for Canadian compliance
  • Support product launch and competitive positioning in Canada
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in HVAC products
  • Strong knowledge of Heat Pump Products, Heat Pump Water Heaters, Gas Furnaces, or RTUs
  • Familiar with Canadian HVAC codes, certifications, and rebate programs
  • Experience working with global or overseas R&D teams
  • Strong technical communication skills (English required)

Competencies for Success

  • Product management or technical product support background
  • Experience with Canadian mainstream manufacturers such as Rheem and Carrier;experience working at Daikin would be a strong plus.
  • Exposure to China-based manufacturing or HQ collaboration
  • Flexibility to communicate with China R&D team when required outside the business hour due to the time difference.
