What You'll Do
- Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations
- Coordinate with the restaurant management team on supply ordering, daily tasks, and kitchen priorities
- Monitor inventory levels and complete biweekly inventory assessments in coordination with the Head Chef
- Maintain FIFO practices, dating and organization systems, cleaning schedules, and stock levels
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards
- Collaborate with Head Chef and Creative Director on menu development
- Coach, guide, and support the development of junior kitchen team members
- Communicate performance, training, and development matters on a regular basis
- Promote clear communication and help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive working environment
What You'll Need
- Previous experience in a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or similar kitchen leadership role
- Strong culinary skills and the ability to support daily kitchen operations
- Experience coaching, guiding, and supporting junior kitchen team members
- Strong understanding of food safety, FIFO practices, inventory control, and kitchen organization
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler Certificate
- Authorization to work in Canada
- An interest in learning about and contributing to Linny’s steakhouse and deli-inspired menu
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
