Job Summary

Prince George Toyota is adding an Automotive Parts Associate to our team! Your enthusiasm and expertise will drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence. In this energetic role, you will assist customers in locating and selecting the right automotive parts and accessories, manage inventory, and ensure smooth sales transactions. Your proactive approach will help keep our parts department organized, efficient, and welcoming for all visitors. Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance in identifying automotive parts and accessories tailored to their needs
  • Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and digital payments with professionalism
  • Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular stock checks
  • Assist with order fulfillment by locating parts quickly, preparing orders for pickup or delivery, and ensuring timely completion
  • Offer knowledgeable advice on automotive repair procedures, maintenance tips, and product features to enhance customer experience
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to safety standards and organizational protocols
  • Parts shipping and receiving

Qualifications

  • Previous dealership experience or retail sales background is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and maintenance practices enhances your ability to assist customers confidently
  • Experience with CMMS software or inventory management tools is advantageous
  • Excellent organizational skills for managing stock levels and order fulfillment efficiently
  • Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to build lasting relationships with clients
