Full job description

The Opportunity

We are a category-defining, hyper-growth experiential wellness and social concept redefining how people recover, perform, connect, and feel their best. At our location we bring together a curated mix of recovery and longevity services, retail, health programs, and a premium membership experience - all under one design-led roof.

We are growing quickly, and we are looking for a General Manager to own and elevate a new flagship location that's part of a national expansion. Here, the experience is the product - so we need someone who delivers world-class hospitality with relentless attention to detail, and runs the numbers like a sharp restaurant GM. At our pace, both have to be true at once.

This is a builder's seat, not a caretaker's. If you want a ground-floor role in a brand that is changing experiential wellness and social experiences, read on.

What you'll own

Guest experience and hospitality craft

  • Set and protect a world-class standard of service at every single touchpoint - from the first hello to the follow-up after a visit.
  • Obsess over the details members feel but rarely name: atmosphere, cleanliness, pacing, warmth, and consistency - every day, without exception.
  • Anticipate and personalize: know your members, and turn first-timers into regulars and regulars into advocates.
  • Be on the floor. Coach the team in the moment, model the standard, and never let "good enough" pass.

The P&L and cost discipline

  • Own location-level P&L across every revenue stream in the business - retail, recovery and longevity services, membership, and health programs.
  • Manage prime cost (cost of goods + labour) to target as the headline operating metric, by department, every week — not monthly after the fact.
  • Run a weekly cost cadence: theoretical-vs-actual consumable variance, inventory and par levels, vendor management, and margin recovery the same week a number slips.
  • Protect contribution margin by department and understand how credit redemptions, breakage, and cash mix flow through the model.

Labour and scheduling

  • Build labour schedules to forecasted demand, holding labour percentage to target while protecting the guest experience.
  • Manage productivity metrics — sales per labour hour, provider and space utilization, and capacity management.

Operations and process

  • Design, document, and enforce SOPs that keep service and cost standards consistent and repeatable.
  • Own opening/closing standards, the end-to-end member journey, service quality, cleanliness, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Team leadership

  • Hire, train, develop, and lead front-of-house, member-experience, and operations teams.
  • Set the cultural tone: high-performance, high-warmth, detail-obsessed.

Growth

  • Drive retention, referrals, and membership growth through an experience members don't want to live without.
  • Partner on lead funnels and conversion, and help shape how we grow as we expand.

What you bring

  • 5+ years in general management of a high-volume, premium hospitality operation — restaurant, hotel, private club, luxury retail, or boutique fitness/wellness.
  • A genuine love of hospitality and a near-compulsive eye for detail — you notice the smudge on the glass and the guest who looks lost, and you fix both before anyone asks.
  • Demonstrated mastery of cost and labour control — you have personally owned a P&L and can talk fluently about prime cost, labour percentage, margin, and the levers behind them.
  • Process-driven and systems-minded — you build SOPs, checklists, and dashboards, and you make standards stick day in, day out.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain sizeable teams.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, hyper-growth environment where you build the road as you drive it.
  • Strong command of operational tech: POS, scheduling, inventory, and membership/CRM systems.

Bonus points

  • Exposure to premium wellness, recovery, or longevity concepts.
  • Genuine interest in helping shape new locations as the brand grows.
  • Familiarity with membership-based revenue models.

What's in it for you

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus.
  • $10,000 signing bonus.
  • A genuine ground-floor leadership role in a unique, hyper-growth brand.
  • Real room to grow as we expand — including the potential to step into multi-unit or senior operations leadership down the road.
  • Premium, design-led work environment and membership/wellness perks.

How to apply

Apply directly through Indeed with your resume. A brief note on a cost or labour problem you've personally solved — and the result — will move you to the top of the pile.
