Casa 1881 is a modern Italian restaurant located inside The Windsor Hotel in the heart of Stratford. Inspired by the timeless hospitality of Italy, we serve authentic Italian cuisine, an exceptional all-Italian wine list, handcrafted cocktails, and warm, genuine service.

We're looking for a friendly, polished, and hospitality-driven Host / Runner to join our growing team. This is a dynamic role where you'll welcome guests, provide attentive table service, assist with food running, and help maintain a beautifully presented dining room.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable
  • Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
  • Provide attentive, professional table service
  • Run food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately
  • Reset and prepare tables to Casa 1881 standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized dining room throughout service
  • Guide guests through our menu and recommend food, wine, and cocktails
  • Assist with opening, closing, and daily side work
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to deliver seamless service

What We're Looking For

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
  • Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Smart Serve Certification (required)
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability
  • Knowledge of Italian food and wine is an asset but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate
