We’re expanding our crew and looking for dependable and experienced Drivers to join our growing team.
Position Overview
As a Driver, you’ll be responsible for safely operating our moving trucks, leading your crew, and ensuring every client’s move is handled with the highest level of service. This role combines physical work, leadership, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company trucks (up to 26 ft) to and from job sites.
- Load, secure, and unload household or commercial goods with care.
- Lead and coordinate your moving crew during each job.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and truck checklists.
- Communicate effectively with clients and the office team.
- Handle paperwork, time tracking, and damage reports accurately.
- Represent A Mile Above Moving with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid G driver’s license (Clean driving record required).
- Experience driving 20–26 ft trucks preferred.
- Previous moving, delivery, or logistics experience is an asset.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
