Experienced rig hands in Western Canada — this is your chance to join Precision Drilling and get rewarded.
Now hiring Drillers, Derrickhands, and Motorhands for a limited-time bonus opportunity from July 1, 2026, to January 31, 2027.

  • $5,000 bonus for Drillers
  • $4,000 bonus for Derrickhands
  • $3,000 bonus for Motorhands

Don’t miss out: Eligible employees must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the role, work 750 hours before the bonus is paid, and not have been employed with Precision Drilling in the past year.

We’re looking for people with recent oil rig experience—or at least 2+ years of recent outdoor heavy labour experience—who are ready to work hard, learn fast, and stay safe.

Job Description – Floorhand (Entry-Level)

As a Floorhand, you’ll play a key role in rig operations while gaining valuable hands-on experience. You'll be responsible for a variety of physically demanding tasks on the rig, including:

  • Operating manual tongs and slips to connect/disconnect tubulars
  • Assisting in rig maintenance, cleaning, and organization
  • Supporting the rig crew in daily drilling activities
  • Participating in safety procedures and identifying potential hazards
  • Attending training and development programs to enhance your skills

What We Need From You:

  • 2+ years of recent outdoor heavy labour experience (or oil rig experience preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Able to pass drug and fitness assessments
  • Physically fit – capable of lifting up to 75 lbs
  • Commitment to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures
