They supply cutting-edge technology and services to thousands of clients in the healthcare, municipal, commercial, institutional, and private sectors.

Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Service Manager/Supervisor, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair parking equipment and access control systems at customer sites throughout Ottawa.

161 Colonnade Rd S, Ottawa, ON K2E 7J4

Employment:

Full-time (Wednesday to Sunday)

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair parking equipment and access control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
  • Respond to service calls and participate in an on-call rotation (1 week per month).
  • Complete SWOs and reports accurately.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies, e.g. ticket rolls and other consumables.
  • Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked.
  • Learn and use parking management and access control software.
  • Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and uniform requirements.
  • Provide feedback to the Manager/Supervisor on potential customer situations/problems found on site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid full G drivers license with a clean driving abstract - Mandatory
  • Experience working with electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Clear credit and criminal background checks

Training will be provided.

Mandatory Attributes:

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when required and participate in an on-call schedule.
  • Ability to travel throughout the Ottawa service area.
