Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable and motivated Service Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Service Manager/Supervisor, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair parking equipment and access control systems at customer sites throughout Ottawa.

Employment:
Full-time (Wednesday to Sunday)
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair parking equipment and access control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues.
- Respond to service calls and participate in an on-call rotation (1 week per month).
- Complete SWOs and reports accurately.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, e.g. ticket rolls and other consumables.
- Keep company vehicle clean, organized, and stocked.
- Learn and use parking management and access control software.
- Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and uniform requirements.
- Provide feedback to the Manager/Supervisor on potential customer situations/problems found on site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid full G drivers license with a clean driving abstract - Mandatory
- Experience working with electrical and electronic equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Clear credit and criminal background checks
Training will be provided.
Mandatory Attributes:
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required and participate in an on-call schedule.
- Ability to travel throughout the Ottawa service area.
