Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Programs Instructor to join our team at Oxford College of Arts, Business and Technology. In this role, you will deliver engaging cybersecurity training programs that prepare students for successful careers in the field. Your expertise will help shape the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and support our commitment to practical, career-oriented education.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive cybersecurity courses and training sessions tailored to student needs.
  • Assess student progress through exams, projects, and practical assessments.
  • Foster an interactive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve curriculum content.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students pursuing careers in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • Proven classroom experience teaching cybersecurity or related IT subjects.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, tools, and industry standards.
  • Minimum 5 years of industry work experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to engage diverse student populations effectively.
  • Relevant certifications such as CC, CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
  • Prior experience in career college settings is an asset.
  • Passion for education and student success.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
