Job Description

At aKin, our Polisher is an essential member of the team, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of service and presentation. As a Polisher, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the pristine appearance of our dining room, by assisting our servers with polishing glasses and plates. This is a detail-oriented position that supports both the front and back-of-house operations, working closely with the service and kitchen teams.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Thoroughly polish and inspect glassware, cutlery, and dish ware to ensure they are spotless and gleaming
  • Assist with organizing and storing polished items in their proper locations for seamless service
  • Work closely with the dishwashing team to manage the flow of clean and polished items during service
  • Handle delicate and fine materials with care, including high-end glassware and custom tableware
  • Follow strict cleanliness and hygiene guidelines to meet aKin’s service standards
  • Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.Perform other duties or responsibilities as required by the Chef, General Manager, or Bar Manager

Qualifications
