In this role, you will:

  • Influence climate policy and decision-making across British Columbia.
  • Build strategic partnerships with governments, Indigenous Nations and organizations, researchers, industry, and civil society.
  • Lead a talented team focused on research mobilization, policy analysis, and decision support.
  • Guide high-impact research syntheses, advisory initiatives, and strategic projects.
  • Help grow the reach, relevance, and influence of one of Canada’s leading climate institutes.
  • Contribute to organizational strategy, leadership, and long-term sustainability.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Senior leadership experience at the intersection of climate policy, research, and decision-making.
  • Expertise in climate mitigation, adaptation, and climate solutions.
  • Experience working with governments, Indigenous organizations, and decision-makers.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • A passion for translating knowledge into action and impact.

Position details:

  • Location: Victoria, B.C. (Vancouver may be considered)
  • Salary: $130,000–$145,000 annually
