Duties
As a Civil Aviation Safety Inspector, you will contribute to the safety of Canada’s aviation system by administering and enforcing regulatory requirements, assessing risks, and supporting a systems-based approach to aviation safety oversight. The duties and responsibilities of Civil Aviation Safety Inspectors include, but are not limited to, the following:
✔ Collaborates effectively with stakeholders and responds to their evolving needs.
✔ Exercise sound judgment and take timely, decisive action in complex situations, while leveraging collaboration and facilitation skills to support behavioural change and foster expertise in client-centered service delivery.

✔ Work under pressure to identify actual or potential conflicts and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
✔ Accountable for making decisions that have a direct impact on the safety and well-being of Canadians.

This is an inventory. The purpose of this continuous recruitment inventory is to create and maintain a pool of applications for future staffing needs within Transport Canada’s Civil Aviation Branch. As positions become available, candidates may be selected from the inventory, and those who meet the required qualifications may be contacted for further assessment. I used MS Excel daily to update all product orders to clients within the industry and maintained an accurate parts inventory. In Position C at Company X, I used Excel create a budget spreadsheet, track expenses, and create monthly summary reports and graphs. In all the previously listed positions, I used MS Outlook daily to write emails, and send documents to staff members, clientele, and taxpayers in addition to the calendar function to schedule internal and external meetings, organizing my tasks, etc. As a Position D with Company Y, I use MS word to create posters, flyers, questionnaires, and invitations to clientele and team members. I use MS Excel to create and maintain an accurate accounting system for accounts payables, receivables, incomes, and expenses.
