Full job description
Vanzuylen, division of Pneus Lavoie Tire is currently looking for a Licensed Commercial Tire Technician.
Location: 3042 County RD29, Brockville, Ontario
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
Job Summary
- Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires at commercial customer locations in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver the customer tire maintenance program by visiting assigned locations to complete fleet checks and related services.
- Conduct after-hours emergency roadside service calls for commercial fleet customers.
- Accurately complete all documentation and paperwork related to the services provided to ensure efficient billing.
- Ensure that service vehicles and all equipment are maintained in a safe, neat, and clean condition at all times.
- Assist shop associates and help ensure that both the shop and service vehicles are kept safe and clean—inside and out—at all times.
- Interact professionally with commercial customers to explain service details and advise on any additional maintenance needs identified
Selection criteria
- Ontario Wheel Installer’s Certificate required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic mechanical aptitude with prior experience on commercial fleet vehicles.
- Interest in further developing technical knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Good physical condition.
Experience
Commercial Tire Technician: 1 year
