Position Summary:
Wellness Shop is seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our award-winning team. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing our customers’ wellness products, ensuring their satisfaction at every interaction. Success in this role is measured by your ability to diagnose and repair efficiently, deliver exceptional service, and meet on-site sales opportunities to match customer needs.

Reason for Vacancy: backfill

Hourly rate: $25-$30/hr + bonus and commission

Service Technician Responsibilities

Sales & Service:

  • Perform scheduled service and maintenance on hot tubs, all season pools, cold plunges, and other wellness products.
  • Diagnose and repair issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Complete service appointments efficiently and accurately, documenting all diagnostics and repair notes in our Field Service Lightning app (FSL).
  • Provide professional recommendations to customers for value-added services and products to enhance their wellness experience.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by identifying and suggesting services or products tailored to customer needs.

Customer Engagement

  • Communicate completed work and product care tips to customers clearly and professionally.
  • Represent the Wellness Shop brand as a trusted expert in wellness product care and maintenance.

Operations

  • Maintain an organized, clean company vehicle, ensuring inventory is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including dress code and code of conduct, while representing the company on-site.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, sharing insights and feedback to improve team performance.
  • Take responsibility for service quality and resolve any mistakes proactively.

Training & Development:

  • Stay updated on new product releases, parts, and technical bulletins from manufacturers.
  • Participate in regular training and performance reviews to continually improve your technical and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC or other relevant technical field.
  • At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or a related technical field.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and understanding mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Experience with hot tubs, saunas, or related wellness equipment is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A customer-first attitude with the ability to build rapport and trust.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel locally to customer sites.
  • Completion of background checks.
