Milo Group is expanding our plumbing team with the goal of doubling our crews. We’re hiring Journeyman Plumbers and Plumbing Foremen for construction and agricultural projects in Red Deer and across Central Alberta.

The work

You’ll bring your plumbing experience to a variety of projects, working with a crew that values quality, practical thinking and getting the job done properly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reading drawings and planning plumbing installations.
  • Installing piping, fittings, fixtures and related equipment to applicable codes and project specifications.
  • Planning materials, tools and work sequences to keep jobs moving.
  • Coordinating with other trades and identifying conflicts before they cause delays.
  • Guiding apprentices and helping them develop their skills.
  • Responding to site changes with practical solutions.
  • Maintaining a safe, organized worksite.

What you bring

Journeyman plumber certification or current plumbing apprenticeship.

  • 3–4 years in commercial or mixed-sector plumbing is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and pride in quality workmanship.
  • The ability to take initiative and work independently within your experience level.
  • A professional, straightforward approach with customers and coworkers.
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Knowledge of Alberta plumbing codes and safe work practices.
