Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in plumbing, gasfitting and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various hand and power tools. Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
  • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Read blueprints and schematics to understand plumbing layouts and specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment for various plumbing tasks.
  • Execute basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
  • Lift heavy materials and equipment as required during installations or repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice, or a fully certified journeyman plumber.
  • Preference given to those with a gasfitter ticket.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work out of town on occasion is a must.
