What You'll Be Doing

Every day is a little different, but your work may include:

  • Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts.
  • Preparing financial reports and working papers.
  • Processing payroll and government remittances.
  • Preparing HST returns.
  • Supporting year-end engagements.
  • Communicating with clients and answering questions.
  • Learning and using cloud accounting technology including QuickBooks Online, Dext, Plooto, Financial Cents, Payworks, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Looking for ways to improve processes and make our team even better.

We'd Love to Meet You If You Have

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (or willingness to become an expert).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A positive attitude.
  • A curiosity for learning.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A desire to grow professionally.

Bonus points if you've worked with cloud accounting software or enjoy learning new technology.
