About the Company:

Glistco Ltd. is an engineering and manufacturer company focused on gaming enhancement accessories. We design and create custom products for brands such as Oculus/Meta, PlayStation, and XBOX.

To take part in Canada Summer Jobs, you must:

  • be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or someone who has been officially given refugee protection in Canada and
  • be legally allowed to work in Canada

Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to join our team. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative product designs.

Duties:

- Generate and present design concepts for new products

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality

- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications using CAD software

- Prototype and test designs to assess performance and user experience

- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into design projects

- Work closely with manufacturers to oversee the production process and ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field

- Proficiency in 3D Printing, G-Codes, & STL

- Strong sketching abilities and expertise in CAD software

- Knowledge of Fusion360, Solidworks & Adobe Creative Suite

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
