Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Credit Specialist to join our Customer Service Team. In this vital role, you will will research and analyze the validity of a credit request, will request a re-payment from customer if claim is denied. Primary focus would be but not limited to, our inbound customer service center for a variety of businesses under the IMG banner.
Key Responsibilities
· Research discrepancies to determine the validity of customer claims.
· Issue credit and debit to correct discrepancies
· Responsible for confirming return authorization to customer
· Responsible for confirming customer to destroy in field
· Notify customers when claims are denied and request repayment of deducted amounts
· Run query for last price invoiced
· Maintain a working knowledge of pricing structures and product information systems.
· Excellent organizational skills and able to function in a deadline –oriented environment
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve account issues and support business objectives.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and credit procedures.
Qualifications
· Proactive, energetic, customer focused and results driven
· Strong organizational skills and able to effectively manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
· Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and navigate software systems and customer portals.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
· Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
· Ability to communicate in French is an asset
· Legally eligible to work in Canada
· Ability to work in Richibucto on a fixed daily schedule

· Confidence in challenging conversations: Comfortable addressing customer concerns in a respectful but firm manner.
