Position: Charity Fundraiser

Company: WPE Fundraising

Location: Ottawa, ON

Responsibilities:

- Engage with the public to promote and advocate for supported charities.

- Provide detailed information about the charities' missions and programs.

- Encourage donations and secure long-term support.

- Maintain accurate records of interactions and results.

- Collaborate with the team to achieve fundraising goals.

- Participate in training sessions to enhance fundraising techniques and communication skills.

- Utilize various face-to-face fundraising methods, including canvassing neighborhoods, business-to-business, kiosks in malls, street fundraising, and participating in festivals and concerts.

Requirements:

- Availability to work full-time, ideally long-term.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

- Previous experience in sales, fundraising, or customer service is an asset.

- Passion for helping others and making a positive impact in the community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
