Job Summary

Papa John's Pizza in St. Albert is looking for a motivated, reliable, and energetic Part-Time Pizza Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, making pizzas according to Papa John's quality standards, and ensuring every order is prepared accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas according to Papa John's recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations.
• Complete daily food preparation, including preparing dough, sauces, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other pizza toppings.
• Stretch pizza dough, assemble customer orders accurately, and bake pizzas to company standards.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, food preparation areas, ovens, coolers, and storage areas.
• Monitor ingredient levels and restock supplies throughout the shift.
• Rotate inventory using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food deliveries.
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Support teammates with cleaning, opening, and closing duties as required.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests and assisting at the front counter when needed.
• Follow all Papa John's operational procedures, company policies, and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, or food preparation environment is considered an asset but is not required.
• Experience preparing pizzas or working in a quick-service restaurant is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
• Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food Safety Certification is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
