Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Cashier and Pizza Maker, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant, welcoming environment for our guests. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that greets customers, takes their orders, and ensures they have an exceptional dining experience. You’ll also craft delicious pizzas with precision and care, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and restaurant operations—all while working in a fast-paced, lively setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using Micros POS (Point of Sale) systems or similar cash register technology.
  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and freshness.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently, providing correct change and processing payments with accuracy.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining food quality.
  • Assist in food handling duties, including ingredient prep and kitchen organization, to support smooth restaurant operations.

Experience

  • Previous food service experience, particularly in pizza making or restaurant environments, is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Experience in the food industry or restaurant setting will help you excel in this energetic role.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
