Full job description

Join the Rick’s Pizza team for the Calgary Stampede! We are looking for energetic, reliable individuals to work in a fast-paced food service environment during one of Canada’s largest events.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous cashier, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience required
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must speak and understand English
  • Must work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work the entire Calgary Stampede - Thursday, July 2 - Sunday, July 12
  • Must be available to work both weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Applicants who cannot work both weekends will not be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide friendly customer service
  • Take customer orders accurately
  • Operate a POS (Point of Sale) system
  • Process cash, credit, and debit transactions
  • Count cash and provide accurate change
  • Serve fountain beverages and other drink products
  • Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods

  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication skills
