ROLE SUMMARY

As a Server Assistant at Nook, you’ll play an essential role in creating the warm, welcoming experience our guests love. You’ll work closely with the front-of-house team to keep service running smoothly; clearing and resetting tables, running food and drinks, refilling water, and supporting servers wherever needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment, takes pride in the details, and loves being part of a lively restaurant where great food, good energy, and genuine hospitality come together.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support servers in delivering attentive and efficient service to guests.
• Clear and reset tables quickly and neatly between courses and seatings.
• Run food and beverages to tables accurately and promptly.
• Refill water glasses and assist guests with additional requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth coordination.
• Uphold Nook's standards for hospitality, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred, but not required.
• Current Serving It Right Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn from an experienced team.
• Genuine interest in hospitality, good food, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.85 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
