Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/Woman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing, construction, and maintenance, with proficiency in various welding techniques and mechanical systems. This role involves performing complex installations, repairs, and inspections to ensure operational efficiency and safety across multiple projects. The Journeyman/Woman will be responsible for interpreting schematics, reading blueprints, and utilizing hand tools to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG welding, and welding repairs on structural components and machinery.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise work.
  • Conduct HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system installations and repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Apply rigging techniques for lifting and positioning heavy equipment or materials safely.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematic diagrams and technical knowledge.
  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to industry regulations during all operations.
  • Assist in manufacturing or construction projects by providing technical expertise as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyman/Woman certification or equivalent experience in manufacturing or construction trades.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and general welding practices.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, mechanical systems, and schematics reading.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools effectively.
  • Familiarity with calipers, basic math skills for measurements, and rigging techniques.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or construction environments preferred.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high safety standards.
  • Must be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.

Pay: $47.00-$60.00 per hour
